Mark consists of a red circle crossed by a black bar or parallelogram. The said circle is interlined with a white stripe running circularly around and near the border of the red circle. The said bar or parallelogram is interlined with two white stripes running along the length of the bar or parallelogram, one stripe near each top and bottom border of the bar or parallelogram, the top border stripe being broken and the word "AND" in white letters inserted therein. In the upper part of the red circle above the bar or parallelogram and within the area circumscribed by the white stripe the word "CHICAGO" appears in white letters. In the lower part of the red circle below the bar parallelogram and within the area circumscribed by the white stripe the word "SYSTEM" appears in white letters. In the black bar or parallelogram between the white stripes and below the word "AND" the words "NORTH WESTERN " appear in white letters.
