The cross-pice of the applicant's "Q" design defines a relatively large area of the literal design. In particular, the cross piece is a highly stylized, triangular wedge which begins at its apex at the circle's center, and from an angle expands past the circular boundary. The "Q" and projecting-wedge shaped cross member depict an angularly focussed, distinct outward projection from the body of the letter.
