The mark consists of a circular seal with the words "AMERICAN FARMLAND TRUST" in an arched form on the inside of the top of the circle, the wording "CERTIFIED" in an arched form on the inside of the bottom of the circle, the wording "U.S. FARMED" written across the middle of the circle, and with designs of a farm and farmland within the top half of the circle and three grain stalks in the bottom half of the circle.
Color is not claimed as a feature of the mark.
The certification mark, as used or intended to be used by persons authorized by the certifier, certifies or is intended to certify that the goods (excluding water, labeling, and packaging) on which the mark is used contain at least 95% by weight of inputs farmed in the United States of America, including U.S. territories of American Samoa, Guam, the Northern Marina Islands, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
